New Year's New Opportunities

There are many individuals who plan different resolutions every year. Some like to get into shape by reducing their weight and losing their belly fat. On the contrary there are few who plan their promotions by performing exceptionally well. Different people have different goals in their lives. These days there are many individuals who are looking for better jobs, to suit their educational backgrounds. But unfortunately the job market is suffering from the lacuna of downsizing, so the point of hiring is already lost somewhere.

There are many individuals who have planned to get a nice job this year, but it really looks difficult to them to get associated with any esteemed organization. The rest who already have jobs are either underpaid employees or working for two or three different positions and earning the salary of only one position. In this scenario it is getting frustrating for the budding talent to bag a job which can support their needs.

As far as my new resolution is concerned, it is pretty different from most of the individuals. I want every Educated and Talented Pakistani to be earning, no matter how big or small the amount is. The main point is to create a platform with the help of which everyone can earn a regular salary. I would like to share with my readers a fact that, there are many platforms with the help of which people can earn a great deal of money by sitting in their homes and working for any outsourcing company that provides online jobs to them.

If we talk about United States of America, United Kingdom, and Australia, we can easily see that 63% of individuals who are in the age range of 38 – 49 years are earning through online jobs. They work from their homes and manage to live a nice and decent life. I agree with the fact that in Pakistan you must have heard about so many scams associated with the Online Job Providers, but just think over one fact, did that happened to you? Or you overheard it from a friend or any other third person?

There are people who consider that e-jobs are much easier than practical jobs! It is not the reality. Any job in the world, for which one gets paid, is not an easy job at all. No one pays for just sitting idle in front of the screen, without performing. One should be mature enough to know the job requirement and specifications before applying for the online jobs as well. A data entry operator can never be a perfect match for the job of Content Writer. It is always good to self actualize your own skills before applying to any job, both virtual and practical.

If you want to make a difference in your life then just log on to any online job providing company and fill out the Employment Forms and email them to the concerned authorities. I can guarantee that if you have the talent you will be selected. Be factual while quoting desired or expected salary. No one gets paid 18K+ for working 3 or 4 hours. Don’t make fool of yourself by quoting which you cannot even relate to. A smart approach is to consider, working 9 – 5 or any 8 (flexible) hours can let you easily earn 15K – 20K, which is earned by 68% of Pakistanis by investing their 10 – 12 hours per day (including traffic and late sittings etc).

This year can be your lucky year to start a virtual career. After all, if all over the world something is acceptable and applicable, why can’t it be in PAKISTAN?

Being Stereo Type Is what Being Ethical Was (Part 1)

There was a time when wearing skirts was not considered good in 80% of the society. Even kids wearing skirts and frocks, used to be informed and educated by their adults (like aunts, grandmas and other neighbors as well) to avoid wearing clothes which show the body parts – the skin. Back in those days, we (at least most of US) were proud to be associated with a CULTURE which used to be the Traditional Clothing for every individual of any age.

Back in those days (not talking about ages ago – but in 90’s and even late 80’s) there used to be some senses alive, amongst people. Here things might get twisted for those who have simply LOST IT! Few things like adopting everything from the Street were neither a GENTLEMAN’s thing nor an ELITE and ELEGANT Woman’s act.

There are multiple kinds of individuals who have their own perceptions and point of views, but on the whole the VIEWS lack in the points (its mostly the point which they want to emphasize – right or wrong has nothing to do with that).

There is a contemporary meaning of being Stereo-type, as per my observation – in today’s life. My thoughts and observations might be considered as over-statements, talibanization or even a narrow minded approach, but in reality, as per my discussion with individuals from different age brackets, from different localities and from different statuses – I wanted to bring it out, for the rest to comment on that – with complete freedom (here freedom is expression of thought with mature and educated mind not “FREE-DOMINATION” to impose only one thing.)

So just think about the following facts:
1.   How many guys want their sisters and mothers to be eyed by other guys – from head to toe?
Is there anyone?
2.  How many sisters want their brothers to be known as Casanovas or Boy Toys?
3.  How many fathers would appreciate their daughters to move around with guys they do not know about (especially from which family they belong?)
4.    How many husbands want their wives to be catered by the attention of their friends and official colleagues?

I don’t think anyone would ever even dream about that! (Personal perception – can differ from others way of thinking)

Why do brothers allow their sisters to wear such dresses on which they themselves will hit on any other girls – if she would have worn that?

Why don’t girls prefer to walk to the market of bus stops after wearing particular kinds of clothes and prefer to go by personal conveyance?

Do they have any guilt or fear? If they say people watch them “so who is inviting them to watch?”

Why do fathers and brothers buy the “ALL NIGHT FREE PACKAGES” for their sisters and daughters – are they really that insane – and living in “SATYA-YUG” that is “ERA of TRUTH”?

Why don’t parents visit the universities, colleges and schools anymore to know the reputation of their kids? They definitely are busy enough in their own hassles that they overlook the fact that for whom they are embracing all the hardships have taken a somewhat wrong path in their lives.

Most of the individuals call such things “Experience” and “personality building” and even “confidence gaining activities” – REALLY?

For them I only have to say “Smoking, Boozing, Child Molestation and Incest etc are also experiences – are you ready to try them all?”

Bitter – hunh?

I heard a father saying “I need daughters not MODELS walking around in my house”

I heard a brother saying (in anger) “I wish I could treat my kid sister the way she really deserves)

I heard a sister saying “I wish brother to get out of the trap of - - -”

Haven’t you heard or thought about it at all?

This thing never crossed your mind?

By stating all these facts am not trying to preach that every woman should take Abaya or does not talk with any guy, or any guy must never talk to a girl and never make a pass (after all yester year’s successful love marriages must have been initiated by making a pass. And those individuals are proud parents of today’s youth as well as grandparents of today’s infants).

What I am trying to say is that there has to respect, love, dedication and sincerity in any relationship – but not time-pass activity, lust and infatuation etc.

Why don’t we appreciate and regard the fact that while driving in front of Mosques, Churches, Temples, Schools and Houses it’s better to lower down the volume of your music player? Its ETHICAL for me – but for most its being stereotype.

I am not sure, whether people tried to get my point of view or not. But I do want most of us to think on few questions, which have been stated here.

Bless you all – keep smiling – Try to observe and weigh.

My “Lost” MAN FRIDAY

For those who have read the gigantic works of some classical authors, including Daniel Defoe, to them Man Friday could be character of his famous work “Robinson Crusoe” – whom he trusted with all his heart and announced loyal to him –, but its not the same, actually. (To me specifically), his (Daniel Defoe's) name itself is a classic symbol for those Practical people who are present today in the cut-throat competition based society. “De” which is a prefix used for “Reversal and Elimination or NO and “Foe” which means Rival and Enemy. I am sure my readers can easily read between the lines here. Anyways, last week I was busy with some deadlines and professional responsibilities. So after spending a quality time with my family I planned a short meeting with some old friends.

After that meeting, I concluded that, every one, from different cultural back-grounds, societal life-styles and professional fields was talking about the short-comings of some other person, either in the offices, families, friends’ circle and day to day acquaintances etc in one way or the other. For instances; people back bite at offices, to over shadow the performance of colleagues or with what ever reason they might have in the back-ground. In families also, we come across some unusual characters, who are neither happy from some one nor they want to accept any gratification from the same on any kind gesture shown to them. They are simply exploiters – in a spoiling way.

Most of us are so much into it that we ourselves don’t know what we are talking about. Like;
  1. He is not a good listener.
  2. He must have been cooking up something else in his mind, which is why he didn’t argue to my suggestions.
  3. "He is not serious with that particular person."
  4. "He is making fun of that specific person in the bright attire."
  5. "He is never clear about his ideas."
  6. "She does not know when to serve me the food, she does not know any thing about my timings."
  7. She seems to be confused when she is around me.
  8. "She can not take the directions"
    and such countless points.

We end up making a decision that some one is not worthy to us, on the above mentioned grounds. Hello! Wake Up! Smell the Coffee!! Who in the world have given us any rights to conclude about the character of other people? Have I ever tried the following things?
  1. Have I asked about the message, I just encoded? Was my audience able to understand it?
  2. Why am I having any cautious thoughts about the other person, who has no arguments in response to my thoughts?  Does it mean that I am having any?!
  3. On what grounds have I concluded the non-seriousness of the other person I am discussing about?
  4. Its not any one else, but I my own self am pointing out some one in the brightest dress.
  5. If some one is not clear about his or her thoughts, have I ever made him understand the severity of that particular matter? Have I ever provided any counseling to him?
  6. Have I ever told her about the schedules and timings of the things I prefer to have?
  7. Following directions, is secondary! Do we give proper directions, which are easy to understand? Do we self actualize ourselves?
Any individual raises such issues only when he or she wants to degrade any one or give a misconception of his / her personality to others. And then we say that people are not trust-worthy, not loyal and reliable. In short we say that WE DON'T COME ACROSS MAN FRIDAYS anymore in modern world. So have we ourselves proved to be some ones’ MAN FRIDAY? By discussing all such mentioned details, can we even expect for some one trust-worthy to us?

As what I personally think, that, when we will find a MAN FRIDAY in our selves for the others, only then we can get to meet one MAN FRIDAY in our life. So, start finding your MAN FRIDAY, he is very much present in every one! The point is ARE WE STILL ACQUAINTED WITH HIM? Or WE HAVE LOST HIS TOUCH SOME WHERE?
